قصه یک عشق زمینی است که به عشق آسمانی تبدیل می‌شود. «شهریار» خادم حرم امام رضا (ع) است و اسم او برای خادمی افتخاری حرم اباعبدالله الحسین (ع) درمی آید، ولی او کمی مخالف است و به همین دلیل به کلانتری حرم امام رضا (ع) می‌رود و از دوست خود می‌خواهد که به مسئول مربوطه بگوید که او را امسال به حرم اباعبدالله الحسین (ع) نفرستد، زیرا می‌خواهد نذر همسر خود را به جا آورد، ولی با این موضوع مخالفت می‌شود و او به کربلا رفته و در بمب گذاری حرم شهید می‌شود
